What do you think about inter racial marriages and why?

I'm doing a project for school on inter racial marriages and relationships and I'd like to hear as many different opinions as I can. This means I'd like to hear yours :-) Thanks!|||Unless you are talking about humans and baboons, we are all one race. The human race.|||In general I would like to think that inter racial couples are accepted into our society. Unfortunetly the truth is that the people who suffer the most are the children. I have a friend who is bi racial and she was not accepted by either side of the family. She was teased growing up, I mean I really feel for this children. I think with the older generation dying so will most of our racism. Younger generations did not live through the real harships of Africana Americans and the slavery they were put through. The Native or Mexican Americans that became americans through invasion.|||Let me start by saying that the answer Jason gave is correct.


My children are, by nationality, Japanese, Chinese, Scottish, Irish, and English, My oldest is soon 47, his wife is from Mexico. I have three other grandchildren, their mother is Mexican and Swedish. My present wife is Chinese, Indonesian. So many wonderful relationship are precluded if you limited yourself to only one ethnic group.


Believe me when I say we are All One, we just walk around in different body's. Sincerely.|||I think that it is an excellent thing to get married to a different race. It shows that DR. Martin Luther King Jr. III did his job. It makes me feel good to see someone with a different race together.|||It depends on truthful introspection into motive. If both those involved marry for shock value, rebelling against parental or prevalent, local cultural distaste, it's as bad as any other bad reason to marry.





Even when it's decided upon by genuine love of each other, both must have the strength and lifelong preparedness to deal with these racist mindsets that will always be part of the human condition.





Marriage for most people is far from easy. Racial differences, though, are no harder to deal with than all the other difficulties.|||there is some evidence to support that fact that interracial marriages tend to have a very low divorce rate because unlike same race/culture couples because they think carefully about future pot holes before the event and plan around them whereas same race/culture couples tend to marry then wonder when issues crop up and are less well prepared for them|||I think marriage is just as hard with or without difference in race. I would think difference in religion would be an actual issue.





I'm for interracial relationships they are just like any other relationship.|||I think it is a great idea! Have you ever noticed how pretty "mixed" babies are? We need to get past this race issue and realize that we are all human. Plus we need to mix up our gene pool, it will make us a stronger species. :)|||I am all for inter racial marriage. I have been in a relationship for awhile now and I have never experienced any problems while dating him.|||It's kind of weird answering this but I think it's perfectly normal and a good symbolic gesture to those who are against it. It's weird why someone would be against it actually.|||I have no problem with them. I have encountered incidents' where married interracial couples tear each other down solely upon their race. If there are any doubts, in any marriage, then they shouldn't be married at all.|||They are usually a bad idea as the instincts of each race are a little different though some are more compatable thatn others.





I have found that cauzoids and mongoloids do well together and so do negroids and mongoloids but caucazoids and negroids are too opposite and often have trouble and make a confused breed whose instincts war within them. This is considering that negroids were shaped by plains and hot weather and caucazoids were shaped by mountains and coldness. The best example of the mix of caucazoid and ******* is in the modern African American or many brazilians from Rio de Jenero, which I have to admit are the best example of *******/caucazoid crossbreeding.





Mongoloids are the connecting race as they are in between. They were shaped in the extreme cold, where they tend to appear more caucazoid (mongolia) but also have an affinity for the heat where they begin to appear more ******* (Polynesia)





I am a hybrid between native American mongoloid and Scottish caucazoid and the mix works.|||I think they are a great idea to help the world break down racial boundaries, which benefits us all sociologically. As well as making the genetic pool more diverse and interesting which benefits us all biologically.|||I think people should stay within their own race. If you have an inter racial couple and they have kid, and then that kid doesn't get accepted by either race, so he is left feeling confused and has issues fitting in.
