Would it help to reduce inter-denominational conflicts in Christianity if they had some sort of guidebook?

Like if all the different denominations were to get together and decide on some sort of official guidebook that told what the core tenets of Christianity are, and maybe even had some stories and quotes from some figure, real or imagined, that they all respect. Wouldn't that maybe help them resolve their differences a little?|||ROFLMAO. Excellent.|||sure a computer program called blessed be the peace makers.

harold coyle in the book god's children had the quote from bible.

the book harold wrote was about character nathan dixon and na.t.o. or u.n. peace keepers stopping ethnic cleansing in slovakia against hungarian minorities. the book is fiction but nott the quote.

1990's book.|||You don't know about Seven Mountains or the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)? These people are doing just that... absorbing numerous churches and denominations into its fold as a united front against the "anti-christ". Oddly enough, their dogma does not include "The Rapture" as part of the End Times for this "Army of the Lord". They believe that some will be taken but they have been given a glorious mission to become the dominant religion in the world. No joke... please read the link below.|||LOL! Great question! Obviously their differences are not based on a guidebook, they are based on the irreconcilable sectarian values they use to interpret the guidebook. 8^)|||No, because any guidebook to nonsense would be nonsense by definition.|||They do, its called the bible. its what caused the division in the first place.|||They cannot agree on them|||they do have a handbook-its called the Bible
