What are some ways to encourage inter-religious dialouge between all the major 5 religions?

How can we get people from all major world religions(Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism) to stop extreme fundamentalism, intolerance, hatred, religious wars?

How can we get each learn to love each other despite our different beliefs? Is there no middle ground? Is this what are gods wanted? Us to all live as one, love each other.|||I think the answer is education. Of course it doesn't work for everyone, but I think that when fair minded people are actually exposed to literature from other religions they start to look at similarities rather than differences. It is most unfortunate that we have practically eliminated religious education from the schools in the US because the schools shy away from anything that might be controversial. I would like to see comparative religion taught in depth in all our schools, with representatives from each of the major religions and atheist representatives invited to give guest presentations.|||Orgy?|||Interfaith religion = One World Religious system led by the false prophet as prophesied in Revelation.|||we cant its built into their mind that they are right and all others are wrong and need to die i myself have had to put up with their bull because im a Pagan there's no hope to stop holy wars even if all religions say killing is bad|||I'd say education. The only way people can find out they're on common ground is by finding out where they stand.|||By saying 'Gods' you leave the possibility open that the god of each religion that offers one is not the true god, hence destroying any possibility that any form of consensus can be reached.

Humans are pack animals, and we'll defend our packs unto the end.

.|||Look and read all about them. Find the things they have in common (which are quite a lot) Write a book about these things and read it back to them. Later reveal that you picked these things out of all the books!!

Everybody wants to be right the problem is they dont listen to each other long enough to see that everybody is right in their way!!|||Buddhism is peaceful to all life.

Christianity, would be peaceful if it did what it preached.

So that really only leaves three religions to sort out.

Maybe we could handcuff them together?|||The truth wouldn't hurt. There was a time during the great Ottoman Empire when Islam was exceedingly powerful. In an all too brief period the Ottoman's not only accepted the "Peoples of The Book," but they even protected Jews and Christians within the borders of the empire. Of course, the subject peoples did have to accept Ottoman rule. Unless I am mistaken Zoroastrians may also have been accepted under the Ottomans at that time. All four are monotheistic, based on one Almighty God. In Islam, Judaism and Christianity the relationship may be closest. The same one God is represented by all three. All three revere some of the very same Old Testament books and some of the very same Old Testament prophets. In my opinion the true infidel is a person who fails to accept the others. But I have not really answered your question yet. There is still Buddhism and Hinduism. Well, I asked a Hindu man at the grocery store if he thought that maybe all the major religions have a single supreme God -- and it is the very same God. He said God is G=generator, O=operator, and D=destroyer. I think that was pretty much saying "yes" to my question. As for Buddhism some Buddhists believe in a primal or original, impersonal force, and some believe there is none such at all. Buddhism is for many a philosophy and not a religion at all. The current Dalai Lama said that, "All the major religions lead to the path of enlightenment." I really like that. In my opinion it is just when you get too tied up in your religion that you may lose sight of the path.|||The United States Christian Founding Fathers established the Religious Freedom clause of the First Amendment to protect and encourage inter-religious dialogue. Unfortunately current judges tend to suppress that rights.

Jesus commands us to "love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you." He also told us that He has other followers of other religions. As Christ Ambassadors of Reconciliation, we are building bridges left and right and middle to encourage inter-religious dialogue. Below is a summary:

Bismelalaha Rahmana Rhima (Syriac Aramaic)

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim (Islam)

In the name of God The Father, The Most Gracious Son, The Most Merciful Holy Spirit

In the name of Allah, Allah Word, and Allah Spirit

Allah and Allah Spirit is one

Allah, Allah Word, and Allah Spirit is one.

At the time of Muhammad, Syrian Christians called Jesus as Rahmana.

Jesus is the Most Gracious because it is by Grace, not by works, as a gift, through Jesus that we are saved. The Holy Spirit is the Most Merciful because it is according to His Mercy God saves us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit (See Titus 3:4-8 %26amp; Eph 2:7-8. NKJV is clear).

When Jesus was a child, Magi of Easter Religions came, bowed down, and worshipped Jesus, a world religious reconciliation. In fact the Bible called His followers as His Ambassadors of Reconciliation.

Jesus Himself said, “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:16, NKJV). Thus Jesus confirmed that there are religions beside Judaism that worshipped Him as God that Jesus will proclaim to be Himself.

To the woman at the well Jesus proclaimed Himself as the Messiah of the Samaritan religion (John 4:25-26). To the Greek, the great apostle and prophet Paul proclaimed the Unknown God as Jesus (Acts 17:23-24). It is through Jesus (the Word of Allah) that all things were created (John 1:1-3). In the Korean Holy Bible, Jesus proclaims Himself as Hananim, meaning “One God,” the Supreme God of the Koreans. In Chinese Holy Bible Jesus proclaims Himself as Dao, the God of Confucius. Dao is also called ShangDi. The pictograph of ShangDi symbolizes “God On The Cross.” In some other Holy Bibles, Jesus proclaims Himself as Allah.

Notice that Allah (Al-ilah meaning the God), Unknown God, Hananim, ShangDi, God, Purusa (meaning the Person, the Crucified God of Hinduism) are all TITLES, descriptive or not, not His name.

There are 22 letters of ancient Hebrew pictograms. Look it up in the internet. The ancient Hebrew letter for sign is a cross (TAV:22), for instance. In the Bible, the name of God is the tetragram YHVH meaning "Hand Revealed Nail Revealed" (Yod:10, Hey:5, Vav:6, Hey:5). Jesus Hebrew pictograms YHVSHA means "Hand Revealed Nail Redeem Seen" (10,5,6,21,16), often simply taught as "Yahweh Saves." Redeem = Consume Sin. “For our God is a consuming fire” (Heb 12:29, NKJV).

Thus Allah’s name alone foretold who He is and His coming on the cross. His name was so important in Old Testament that Malachi 3:16-17 said that those who feared %26amp; meditate on His name would be saved. Thus, in both OT and NT, we are actually saved through Jesus. But now that Christ has come, only through YHVSHA we are saved.

Thus Jesus is YHVH who came to earth. In the Bible the word YHVH is usually written as LORD (with caps) instead of Lord meaning Master. Thus, if you reread the Torah/OT again, you will know how YHVH our God (later on called Jesus) talked with Abraham. It is through Jesus Spirit that is Allah’s Spirit that the Heaven and the Earth were created and Allah came down to earth to see Abraham. His flesh were created through His Word.

In the Koran, Jesus the Person is called Isa, and Jesus the Allah is called The Most Gracious (Ar-Rahman, just as Muhammad knew that Syrian Christians called Jesus as Rahmana. Read Sura Maryam and Ar-Rahman. If you know the Gospel, you will recognize Jesus as Ar-Rahman there. Ar-Rahman, the Creator of the Heaven and the Earth, is the only Intercessor) or the Spirit of Allah or the Word of Allah. Through the Word (Jesus) everything was created (John 1:1-14). Idul Adha was supposed to celebrate the Momentous Sacrifice (sura 37:107. Azeem as Al-Azeem, God Himself) that replaces Isaac (according to the Bible. The Quran is silent on this issue).

The Quran called Jesus Holy and only Allah is Holy. Allah confirms His messages and authorities through divine miracles. Why would the Word manifest Himself through a virgin, sd the only person born of a virgin in human history. Because He was not from beneath but came from above (John 19:11).

Allah, His Word, and His Spirit are one Allah. It is through Jesus that Agape/Muhiba permeates the world to bring hospitals, modern medicine, true liberty, mother Teresa’s, the Red Cross’es from where the Red Crescent’s ensued, and reverend Harvard universities.|||In one word: empathy. One may be sympathetic, but not empathetic, not able to imagine how it is to be someone else.

Thou, whom for others’ torment do not care,

Cannot the name of Human rightly bear.
