Rather than having a unity candle (since a tiny little flame is such a poor representation of a human life) I'd like to take 2 saplings and inter-twine them into 1 tree.
Can something like that be done? How likely will it be that the two trees live as one?|||Yes it is. This would be the same is grafting. The trees need to be of the same family or they will not work. It will eventually be "one" tree. It may have two sets of leaves on different branches, but they will be one tree living off of the same root system and same vascular system.
Have you ever seen a dog wood with pink and white blooms? Have you ever heard of a tree with red and yellow apples? It's the same basic concept.|||I guess you are thinking of the bamboo that is twined together.
Go ahead and try it|||They will always be two trees, but intertwined. Nice idea
Just like us two humans - intertwined, but not fused.
