What should Govt do to protect inter-caste or inter-religious marriage couples?

What should Govt do to protect inter-caste and inter-religious marriage couples from being killed by their irrational relatives and casteism in Indian society?





One solution that comes to my mind is Govt freely giving them handguns for their self-defense.|||govt has no business in it.i was born out of inter caste and intercommunity marriage.im quite proud of it .andhra is quite conservative and very castiest.going around with a gun and shooting your own reletives is a stupid idea like the stupid love based films made in andhra.if you marry someone its your responsibiity not your parents or reletives.you cant go on pleasing everybody,marry and set up your seperate family,build your bank of friends whom you can socialise with.set up a community of guys with inter religious marriages ,youll find you are not alone.do away with this peddawallu yemu cheptaru stuff.i think teens love this telegu film famiy feuds on love or else why to ask for their opinions when they know they are too prejudiced to give a fair opinion|||Legalize Inercaste and Inter religious marriages.

Legalise Live in Relationships and accord equal rights to both partners in a relationship.|||I agree that giving them handguns for their self-defense is a good start.|||It's not government job.





We constitute society and government, it's we the society to protect them.|||First step is to educate the people that there is no difference in caste or religion and it was formed in olden days by the then society for their convenience in work and has meaning then. This change will take time.


Secondly select people with proven knowledge and ability for the parliament and assembly and not the crimanals and fanatics as we do now.Thirdly remove the reservations for the people for jobs based on caste and religion but canbe based on financial background to help poor from any caste or religion. All this can be done faster if a benevolent dictator or leader rules the country for about 15 to 20 years.|||Govt. can not do all for all. In case of HG, at least 1 will die.|||Government does protect inter caste and inter religious couples. If the couples register a complaint against the relatives, police is supposed to give protection to the couples. Killing for whatever reason deserves punishment!
