As an observation, it seems when one has high blood it comes next that he has heart ailment or diabetes. What's the connection and what is the prevention on this?|||Actually, I see diabetes first, then high blood pressure %26amp; cardiac complications...if we are connecting all three. DM over time takes it's toll on blood vessels affecting circulation, leading to BP problems and/or cardiac problems....and kidney problems....which enhances high BP problems...and so goes the circle when each affects each.
Now, without diabetes in the picture, high BP (not controlled) can cause heart problems and kidney dysfunction.
There may well be a higher incidence of DM with hypertension....I would guess if this were true then the pancreas was affected by the hypertention as the heart and kidneys are affected.|||I've noticed same thing. High blood pressure leads to heart problems. Maybe all 3 associated with being overweight? Every time my brother (Type 2 diabetic) has increased blood sugar level, he has heart attack!! Follow healthy diet for all 3 (good fats, lose weight, exercise).

Do you think inter racial marriages work out?
Different cultures and religions celebrate different festivals, have different attitudes towards many things, have different lifestyles, eat different foods, etc.
Do you think two people, from two very different cultures, can reach a strong enough compromise between their differences to make their marriage last?|||Sure,why not?|||Human being on earth always like variety and changes . The nature too is changing so frequent and seasons too is changing as change is the universal truth . So one prefer to have diffrent culture and festivals etc if two persons are like minded by temperament with reciprocal attitude . Also they shound never try to compare what is good and bad . If that atmosphere prevails than everything fine to maintain harmony in long lived marriage life .|||Any marriage is a big adjustment for both parties. It is even harder for couples of different race/culture.
It can work, but it takes a lot of hard work and a very strong commitment by both.
You must both be willing to compromise. Think of it as a learning adventure and try to make the differences a fun adventure. Work out beforehand what you absolutely cannot give up.|||It's not the race of the people involved that could cause issues. It's the cultural differences that could, but what I've seen in my life, most often those couples work harder in their relationships because society in general dislikes those relationships!
What really will test relationships like this, is when children are brought into it. Cultural differences in raising children could become a major issue or it could work out beautifully.|||if your watch TV you can see that black guys with white women is the biggest thing there is not any shows that don't try to push it. but in real life more of the time the white women are looking to try to stand out are they are just trailer trash and to a black guy it like he getting some thing over on the white guys but he's not he's just taking the trash off the market.|||I don't see how that can be a problem in a marriage. Hopefully it is thoroughly discussed before getting married. Why is it not easy for black women to date inter-racially but easy for everyone else?
Whites, Asians and every other ethnicity can easily date inter-racially but black women?|||.I've seen plenty of black women with partners who were not black, but I cannot speak for how difficult it may be for any black woman who desires a non-black partner, to find one. I don't know that interracial dating is 'easy' for everyone else....it really depends on your views on racial mixing and the views of those you are attracted to.

How common was inter-racial mixing between native american and whites in the 17 and 1800's?
I'm reading a fiction novel where a white woman marries a native american. It was set in the late 1700s, and I'm just wondering if that was even heard of in those days? White people didn't seem too accepting of anyone outside of their race back then so this seems a little unlikely.

I am looking to study in Inter American University. Specifically, I think I'd be looking into attending the campus in Ponce as this seems to be the one which offers my major, International Business. My question is, does this school have dormitories for students? I tried searching the site but have not yet found anything pertaining to this.|||Inter American University does not have rooms inside the campus...but there're a lot of Hospedajes (dorms that's how they called it) where you can pay rent sometimes share a house or a condo with some other students .
I hope you speak or at least understand some spanish because this site can give more info in what you're looking for but is in spanish, I try to find something in english but there's nothing available
