Why does inter milan have a red cross on a white background for their new away kit and on their crest?

What does this flag represent to inter because it looks like a St. George cross but i don't see how that is connected to a italian soccer team?|||It's Inter's Centenary, so they designed a special jersey for the occasion. The red cross and the white background is a symbol for the city of Milan.|||its to celebrate their 100th anniversary|||From what i heard this is the uniform it used while Muosolini was in power and ordered them to change the name of the team because it sounded to communist. I am not sure of this. But I am sure that it is being use to conmemorate the 100 years of the team.|||It's a centenary edition jersey. Many teams centenary jerseys are split down the middle with 2 different or off shade colors.|||It's there 100th anniversary they were founded in 1908 but as Ambrosiana then I think in the mid 40's they became Inter. It's just to remember the original jersey.|||It's for their birthday.they will go to 100.I like blue %26amp; black more than this one,but I like this too.
